Amedeo is Suavia's Recioto di Soave DOCG from the ancient Monte Carbonare vineyard; the sweet dried-Garganega wine balances luscious apricot-honey sweetness with the grape's natural high acidity, keeping the finish fresh and complex.

What it pairs with

  • Peach crostata with almonds
Stone fruit tart and almond echoes the wine's apricot-almond register perfectly.
  • Aged Grana Padano with honey
The classic northern Italian cheese-and-honey plate is elevated by sweet Recioto di Soave.

History

Amedeo is named for an ancestor of the Tessari family, and represents the estate's tribute to the ancient tradition of sweet Garganega wine that preceded both modern Soave and the dry table wine era.
