Aroma: cassis, plum, blackberry, spice
Palate: elegant and full, very soft tannin, long close
Unoaked varietal Jaen with a seven-day maceration: spice, cassis, plum and blackberry, and tannins that are present but notably soft.
Intense in colour and clear, with an aroma that shows the variety plainly: spice, cassis, plums and blackberries. In the mouth it is elegant and full with well present but very soft tannins and a long finish.
The estate says it will please drinkers of young wine but benefits from one or two years in bottle, is much more complex at five or six, and has the structure to evolve for fifteen.
No oak at all. It stays in stainless steel until bottling, which is why the variety's fruit and softness are so exposed.
