A skin-contact white from old vines: dry straw and pungent spice over grape, lime and peach, with fine tannin and contained bitterness.
The stems appear subtly on the nose, giving aromas of dry straw, pungent spice, grape, lime, peach and yellow melon over a light mineral and strongly floral base. The palate has a fine, ripe but present tannin, contained bitterness and vibrant acidity, with citrus fruit moving between clementine and lemon and white flowers behind.
The estate is explicit that the fruit comes from old vines and that the varieties cannot be defined, which is why no blend percentages are published.
