La Segreta Bianco blends native Grecanico with aromatic international varieties in Planeta's most accessible white: fresh, aromatic and immediately appealing with stone-fruit and citrus freshness.

What it pairs with

  • Mozzarella in carrozza
Acacia blossom and fresh citrus notes contrast pleasantly with fried mozzarella.
  • Light seafood pasta
An everyday Sicilian white well suited to fresh clam or mussel pasta.
  • Fresh fish carpaccio
Clean acidity and aromatic freshness complement delicate raw fish preparations.

History

La Segreta Bianco and Rosso were created by Planeta to offer approachable, multi-varietal introductions to Sicilian wine at an accessible price. The white blend was designed to combine Grecanico's native Sicilian character with the aromatics of Chardonnay, Viognier and Fiano.
