Adenzia Bianco blends Grillo and Inzolia from Baglio del Cristo's chalky Agrigento limestone soils: the combination yields a fresh, almond-citrus white with the mineral depth that characterises this distinctive terroir.

What it pairs with

  • Sicilian seafood couscous
Almond-mineral notes in the wine echo the almond-rich Sicilian couscous tradition.
  • Grilled prawns with lemon and herbs
Fresh acidity and citrus blossom complement chargrilled shellfish.
  • Caponata fresca with almonds
The wine's almond character bridges the sweet-sour vegetables and toasted almonds in caponata.

History

Baglio del Cristo di Campobello's Adenzia range, named in Sicilian dialect, covers the estate's entry-level whites and reds. The Bianco blends the estate's Grillo and Inzolia from their calcareous chalk soils near Agrigento, 8 kilometres from the sea.
