History

Pierre-Marie Chermette established the Vissoux domaine in the Pierres Dorées zone of southern Beaujolais, farming with organic principles from the beginning and reviving old-style whole-cluster Gamay vinification.

  1. 1987 — Domaine du Vissoux established by Pierre-Marie Chermette in Pierres Dorées
  2. 1990 — Cuvée Traditionnelle established as the domaine's entry-level AOC bottling
