The Beranger parcel was previously vinified by Jacques Puffeney, a fact the estate records on the cuvee's own page. The domaine describes an elegant and powerful Trousseau built for long keeping, raised only in old large format barrels so the wood stays in the background.

What it pairs with

  • Roast red meat
Trousseau carries the tannin and structure Poulsard lacks.
  • Game birds
The cherry and dried herb register suits feathered game.
  • Charcuterie
A standard Jura table match for the grape.
