The Grand Curoulet parcel sits on grey and variegated marl, which the domaine credits for the richness and mineral drive of this Savagnin. Topped up throughout its sixteen months in cask, so it is not an oxidative wine, with an overnight skin soak on a third of the crop adding texture.

What it pairs with

  • Roast white fish
The extra texture from the skin soak wants a fuller fish plate than the standard cuvee.
  • Poultry
Sixteen months in cask gives the weight to carry roast chicken.
  • Comte
Savagnin and Comte is the Jura table's own pairing.
