Chardonnay planted at the top of the Grand Curoulet parcel, where the domaine says the grey marls give the wine a distinctly Jura character. Fifteen to sixteen months in barrel and foudre, topped up rather than veil aged.

What it pairs with

  • Roast white fish
The longer wood ageing gives the frame for a roasted rather than poached plate.
  • Poultry in cream sauce
Body from the cask and acidity from the marl both work on a cream sauce.
  • Comte
The default Jura cheese for a Chardonnay of this weight.
