Off marly soils rich in limestone, which the domaine credits with giving the cuvee both volume and minerality. Fermented and aged in wood for a year without any veil ageing, so this is the estate's straightforwardly fresh Chardonnay.

What it pairs with

  • Grilled white fish
A barrel fermented but topped up Chardonnay has weight without oxidative weight.
  • Scallops
The mineral drive the domaine describes suits sweet shellfish.
  • Poultry
Twelve months in wood gives enough body for roast chicken.
