In the glass
Aroma: white flowers, lemon, pear, light mineral
Palate: citrus, green apple, saline, fresh finish
Murgo's Etna Bianco is a bright, fresh expression of eastern-slope Carricante and Catarratto: floral, citrus-forward and mineral-clean.
What it pairs with
-
Fritto misto di pesce
Bright acidity and light body cut through the richness of mixed fried seafood. -
Sicilian caprese with buffalo mozzarella
Floral notes and citrus freshness complement the creamy milky mozzarella. -
Grilled sea bass
Clean mineral finish and high acidity pair naturally with delicate grilled sea bass.
History
Murgo's Etna Bianco draws on Carricante and Catarratto from the eastern slope's clay-volcanic soils, providing an entry-level white wine alongside the celebrated sparkling programme. The eastern slope's terroir produces a slightly rounder, more floral Etna Bianco compared to the north slope's crisper styles.
