Nicosia's entry-level Etna Bianco: a fresh and clean expression of Carricante and Catarratto from the organic south-east slope holdings, offering everyday mineral refreshment.

What it pairs with

  • Grilled shrimp with garlic and olive oil
Bright acidity and saline mineral match the garlic-grilled shrimp perfectly.
  • Fresh insalata caprese
Citrus freshness and light mineral character harmonise with mozzarella and tomato.
  • Steamed mussels in white wine
Saline-mineral wine mirrors the briny mussels and the white wine cooking liquid.

History

Tenute Nicosia added an Etna Bianco to the range in 2012 as the estate expanded its organic Etna programme. The wine provides an affordable, refreshing white counterpart to the red range and is widely available through the estate's extensive distribution network.
