Aroma: morello cherry, cherry in eau de vie, spice
Palate: ripe cherry, spice
Selected from five plots, Rosieres, Beranger, En Muzard, Corvees sous Curon and Chevrette, all on Bajocien limestone scree over Lias clay, with vines back to 1930. The estate reports very ripe fruit, morello and cherry in eau de vie with spice, and a broad palate of fine ripe tannins.

- Hand picked into crates with a severe sort, destemmed, a month on skins in a wooden truncated cone vat with some punching down, then a year in 600 litre half muids, 10 percent new. Bottled unfiltered, with about 2 g/hl of SO2 at vatting and the same again at bottling.
