En Barberon is a 1.8 hectare hill planted on both its east and west flanks, Bajocien limestone at the surface over Lias marl, vines of 38 years at an unusually wide 3,300 plants per hectare. The estate reports clear red fruit, a complex and structured wine with fine tannins.

What it pairs with

  • Soft cheeses
Cheese opens the estate's own pairing list for this parcel.
  • Red meat
Tissot names red meat; the barrel frame carries it.
  • Duck
Duck is on the estate's list and suits Pinot Noir's red fruit.
  • Haunch of venison
The estate closes with gigue de chevreuil, a classic Jura game plate.
