Corte Gardoni's Bardolino Classico is produced from Corvina-dominated vines on the southern Garda morainic soils. Light-bodied, pale ruby and fresh: a classic everyday Garda red suited to fish, vegetable dishes and outdoor drinking.

What it pairs with

  • Risotto al Bardolino (risotto made with Bardolino)
Regional tradition: the same wine in the risotto and in the glass.
  • Carne salada di manzo (raw cured Garda beef)
Bardolino Classico is the traditional Garda accompaniment for thinly sliced, lemon-dressed cured beef.

History

Corte Gardoni produces Bardolino Classico from the estate's Corvina and Rondinella vineyards on the morainic hills near the lake. The Classico sub-zone of the Bardolino DOC covers the historic production core around the lakefront village. The light ruby, sour-cherry style of Bardolino Classico is designed for immediate enjoyment.
