Aroma: white peach, almond, basalt mineral, citrus blossom, herb, fennel

Palate: almond paste, white peach, saline mineral, fennel, lemon zest

Inama's Oratorio di San Lorenzo is the estate's second single-vineyard Soave Superiore from the adjacent San Lorenzo parcel, showing the same volcanic basalt minerality as Foscarino but with a slightly more herbal, fennel-accented character.

What it pairs with

  • Baccala mantecato on polenta
The wine's saline mineral character and herbal freshness balance the creamy salt cod purée.
  • Grilled calamari with lemon
Clean mineral Soave is the definitive accompaniment to grilled calamari with citrus.

History

Inama's Oratorio di San Lorenzo (named for the historic chapel on the vineyard plot) was added as the estate's second single-vineyard Soave Superiore to demonstrate the distinct character of the San Lorenzo parcel versus the adjacent Foscarino.
