What it pairs with

  • Rabbit with mustard
The softer expression of Corcelette suits delicate rabbit preparations.
  • Mushroom bourguignon
Earthy mushroom stew finds resonance with the mineral, natural Gamay.
  • Grilled duck hearts
Natural wine's affinity with offal is exemplified in this Beaujolais bistro pairing.

History

Mee Godard's Corcelette cuvee draws from the clay-granite lieu-dit in Morgon that produces a softer, more accessible wine than the schist-iron Cote du Py. First produced in 2014.

  1. 2014 — Corcelette lieu-dit first bottled separately by Mee Godard
