Domaine de Cigalus is one of Gerard Bertrand's flagship biodynamic estates at Bizanet near Narbonne (Demeter certified since 2009). The Cigalus blanc is a Chardonnay-Sauvignon Blanc-Viognier blend at the upper end of the budget range (~EUR22), and is the white-wine showcase of Bertrand's biodynamic portfolio. The estate's red Cigalus is similarly priced.

Tip: Cigalus visits combine a biodynamic farm tour with a producer-led tasting at the Chateau l'Hospitalet hotel and restaurant complex. The white sits at the budget ceiling; pair with grilled sea bass or langoustines.
