History

This village wine assembles the coolest zones of Valtuille de Abajo. El Val sits high on the ridge in the central part of the Valdoneje paraje with a west aspect and heavy clay; Mata Los Pardos lies 200 metres south with an east aspect and lower altitude; some La Vitoriana parcels are added for freshness. Vines run ninety to a hundred years old, cropped at around 1,500 kg per hectare.
