Ultreia takes its name from the pilgrim greeting on the Camino de Santiago, which crosses the Bierzo. Saint Jacques is the range's most widely distributed wine, built on old vines at Valtuille de Abajo and made with minimal intervention.
Violets and fresh mineral notes lead, with chalk on the palate and a refreshing integrated acidity. Spice, orange peel and wild strawberry fill out a round, complete mouthfeel.

Chorizo al vino, grilled octopus with pimentón, and pork loin with peppers all suit it.
