History

Pieropan's Riserva Amarone comes from the Vigna Garzon at Monte Garzon in Cellore d'Illasi, planted in 2000. The grapes dry naturally for two to three months, and the wine spends at least 36 months in 500 litre tonneaux before a year in concrete and a year in bottle. The producer does not make it in years with unfavourable weather.
