Lageder's flagship biodynamic-everyday cuvee blending Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay from Demeter-certified vineyards across Alto Adige. Launched in 2008 as Al Passo del Leone Bianco - the first Demeter-certified Lageder wine and a clear statement of the cellar's biodynamic transition.

What it pairs with

  • Risotto with seasonal vegetables
The wine's fresh acidity and mineral lift suit vegetable-forward risotto; medium body matches the creaminess.
  • Pan-seared white fish with lemon
Clean acidic Alpine white pairs with delicate fish; citrus notes echo the lemon.
  • Aperitivo with prosciutto and melon
Light, fresh and food-friendly; the wine's body and acidity work as an all-purpose aperitivo white.

History

Lageder launched Beta Delta (originally titled Al Passo del Leone Bianco) in 2008 as the cellar's first explicitly Demeter-certified biodynamic cuvee. The wine signalled the broader Lageder estate's transition to certified biodynamic farming and combines fully mature, healthy grapes from vineyards across Alto Adige.
