History
Szepsy's Aszú 6 puttonyos was among the first privately produced single-estate Aszú wines of the post-Communist era, emerging from the historic Mád dűlők that the Szepsy family had tended for generations. Produced only in genuine botrytis years, each vintage is a rare release.
- 1993 — First post-1989 Szepsy Aszú released commercially
- 1999 — 1999 Szepsy Aszú gains international export distribution
- 2013 — Aszú regulations revised; Szepsy 6-puttonyos confirmed under new PDO rules
