Aroma: lemon, white blossom, green apple, mineral

Palate: citrus zest, pear, saline, chalky mineral

A fresh, immediately drinkable Etna Bianco: citrus-forward with Carricante's characteristic volcanic salinity and clean mineral finish.

What it pairs with

  • Spaghetti con ricci di mare (sea urchin)
Briny salinity and citrus acidity complement the creamy oceanic richness of sea urchin.
  • Grilled calamari with lemon
Light body and bright acidity pair perfectly with simply prepared squid.
  • Caprese salad
Refreshing acidity and mineral notes harmonise with mozzarella and ripe tomato.

History

Pietradolce added an entry-level Etna Bianco to the range in 2010 to accompany the more complex Archineri Superiore, providing an everyday white wine expression from the Carricante-Catarratto blend characteristic of the north-slope white production.
