Merlot from the Trobno Cru in the Opoka line, which the estate built from soil surveys and microclimate studies made between 2003 and 2005. Dark fruited, firm and long lived.

What it pairs with

  • Roast lamb
Firm tannin handles the fat and the herb notes run with the rosemary.
  • Venison with juniper
Graphite and cedar answer the game without smothering it.
  • Aged mountain cheese
The wine's acidity keeps a hard salty cheese from dulling the fruit.
