Aroma: dried white fruit, apricot, spice, chamomile, basil, spruce resin

Palate: quince, dried herbs, orange peel

Deep gold on the edge of orange, the estate's uncompromising natural bottling. A full year on the skins in cask gives dried fruit, spice and a firm textural grip.

What it pairs with

  • Pork and veal
Ferdinand names both; skin contact tannin does the work a red would.
  • Aged cheese
The producer names mature cheese; salt meets the wine's tannin and dried fruit.
  • Nothing at all
Ferdinand suggests drinking it alone for contemplation, and its texture supports that.
