What it pairs with

  • Duck magret with truffle jus
The climat-specific depth of this cuvee suits luxurious duck preparations.
  • Roasted guinea fowl with wild mushrooms
Earthy mushroom and delicate game bird match the mineral character of Thorins.
  • Comté 36 months
Extended-aged hard cheese matches the wine's depth and finesse.

History

The Thorins climat takes its name from the village of Romanèche-Thorins, within the Moulin-a-Vent appellation. Rottiers parcels in Thorins have deeper manganese expression than the estate classique.
