Hombros arrived late in the estate's range and quickly became its reference wine. It comes from the middle sections of the Valdaiga paraje at Valtuille de Arriba, on quartz and slate, with vines between fifty and one hundred years old. Grapes are cold soaked in stainless steel, fermented on indigenous yeasts and held on fine lees before barrel.
A highly aromatic wine with a nose of wild blackberries, blueberries and delicate summer flowers. Ripe tannin, lively acidity and a certain richness are held in balance, and the finish is long and harmonious.
From the mid-slope sections of the Valdaiga paraje at Valtuille de Arriba, on quartz and slate soils, from vines aged between fifty and one hundred years.
Drink between three and fourteen years from vintage, served at 15 to 16 degrees Celsius.
