The family's introductory red, made without oak so the Mencía fruit stays forward. It comes from the Peique holdings around Valtuille de Abajo.
Cherry red with violet reflections. The nose carries ripe red fruit, floral notes and mineral hints, and the palate is fleshy, broad and savoury.
Drink within one to five years of the vintage, served between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius.
