Classic Pedro Ximénez from the El Puerto riverside bodega: near-black, intensely sweet and concentrated with molasses, dark chocolate and dried-fruit character.

What it pairs with

  • Vanilla ice cream drizzled
The traditional PX service contrasts creamy cold with syrupy intensity.
  • Chocolate brownie
Dark chocolate richness is mirrored and amplified by the wine's cocoa register.

History

Gutiérrez Colosía's Pedro Ximénez is produced from grapes dried on straw mats in the Montilla area, then vinified and aged in the El Puerto bodega. The wine represents the sweet complement to the bodega's dry range and has been part of the El Puerto portfolio since the bodega's foundation.
