Aroma: very ripe white fruit, wood, spice, dried flowers

Palate: quince, almond, salinity

Fourteen days on the skins in a wooden tino and twenty months in cask. Straw yellow going gold, very ripe white fruit, faintly salty, with a very long close.

What it pairs with

  • Spiced fish dishes
Scurek names them; skin contact texture stands up to strong seasoning.
  • White meat
The tannin from the skins does the work a red would normally do.
  • Aged cheese
The producer names aged cheese; the salinity in the wine meets it directly.
