A dry varietal Pikolit, gold with amber tints, raised two years in new acacia. Honeyed and warm on the nose but finished dry, with a creamy long close.

What it pairs with

  • Aged cow's milk cheese
Scurek names it; the wine's weight and honeyed nose meet a hard salty cheese.
  • White meat in sweet sauces
The producer names this; the honeyed aromatics track the glaze while the wine stays dry.
  • Foie gras
Acacia raising and 15 percent alcohol carry the fat.
