El Rebolón comes from two small parcels of very old vines at Espanillo, at 750 metres on slate soils. The grapes ferment as whole bunches crushed by foot in a 1,500 litre vessel kept full, macerate around forty days, and finish malolactic and fourteen months of ageing in two 500 litre barrels. It is bottled unfiltered.
Mencía with Alicante Bouschet and Godello, as they grow interplanted in two very old parcels at Espanillo.
