The fruit comes from Godello vines dispersed among Mencía and other varieties in the Espanillo vineyards, averaging sixty years old, on clay in the lower sections and slate above. After a 24-hour skin maceration and pressing, the must ferments cool in 500 litre barrels and stays there forty-eight months before bottling and at least a year in bottle.
