Chapoutier's single-vineyard Condrieu from the Coteau de Chery, one of the most prized sites in the appellation. Biodynamically farmed Viognier with tropical aromatics and excellent depth.

What it pairs with

  • Seared scallops with mango and coriander
The wine's tropical mango character echoes the fruit in the scallop preparation.
  • Foie gras terrine with fig chutney
The wine's opulent fruit and honey profile matches foie gras richness.
  • Spiced Moroccan chicken pastilla
The wine's ginger and spice notes resonate with Moroccan spicing on chicken.

History

The Coteau de Chery is a specific amphitheatre-shaped site in Condrieu that concentrates Viognier's aromatics through exceptional sun exposure and granite soils. Chapoutier added it to their single-vineyard range in 1997.
