The historic assemblage white Hermitage from Chapoutier. 100% Marsanne unified across multiple parcels, producing a richly textured white that is more accessible than De l'Oree.

What it pairs with

  • Pan-seared halibut with beurre blanc
The wine's round stone fruit and creamy texture mirrors the butter sauce.
  • Veal blanquette
Cream-based veal stew is elevated by Marsanne's rich textured white fruit.
  • Roasted white asparagus
The wine's almond and peach notes are a classic match for white asparagus.

History

Chante-Alouette is one of the oldest named bottlings in the Northern Rhone, dating to the mid-19th century. The name translates as singing lark. It is the classic assemblage white Hermitage from the Chapoutier house.
