Chapoutier's Saint-Peray from biodynamic Marsanne vines. One of the most accessible introductions to this underappreciated appellation; rich, textural and mineral.

What it pairs with

  • Chicken with cream and tarragon
Rich Marsanne and cream-based chicken is a classic regional pairing.
  • Grilled sea bass with beurre blanc
The wine's mineral-rich texture and moderate acidity suit firm white fish.
  • Roasted white asparagus with brown butter
Beeswax and almond notes in the wine are natural with asparagus and browned butter.

History

Les Tanneurs is Chapoutier's Saint-Peray from biodynamic Marsanne parcels. The appellation is named after the tanneries that once occupied the hillsides above the town of Saint-Peray.
