In the glass
Aroma: walnut, curry
Palate: walnut, curry
A shorter veil ageing than the domaine's Vin Jaune, two to four years rather than seven, which Bourdy says gives a bright yellow robe with golden glints and an assertive Jura character of walnut and curry at a lighter 13 percent.
What it pairs with
-
Comte
The wine's walnut register is built for hard mountain cheese. -
Escargots
Garlic and parsley butter is the Jura standard for a young sous voile Savagnin. -
