Señorío del Bierzo is made from selected grapes off the cooperative's oldest vineyards, between 90 and 100 years old. Alcoholic fermentation runs fourteen days in temperature-controlled steel, malolactic in concrete, and the wine matures at least fourteen months in high-quality French oak.
Garnet red with a medium to high depth of colour. Black fruit appears on the nose, markedly spiced and balsamic with mineral notes, clean and complex at medium to high intensity. The palate has a sweet entry with ripe, amiable tannin and good acidity, a long and persistent run and a balsamic, mineral aftertaste.
At least fourteen months in high-quality French oak barrels, after fourteen days of fermentation in steel and malolactic in concrete.
