A third single-parcel Gigondas from Saint Cosme, somewhat lighter and more floral than Le Claux; Cinsault adds a fresh, aromatic quality to the Grenache core.

What it pairs with

  • Herb-roasted pork loin
Floral Grenache with Cinsault freshness pairs well with lighter pork preparations.
  • Grilled courgette and aubergine
Lighter-framed Gigondas with aromatic freshness suits grilled vegetables.

History

Le Poste is a single-parcel Gigondas from Saint Cosme, from a parcel near the old postal road through the village. It includes Cinsault for freshness, making it the most approachable of the Saint Cosme single-parcel Gigondas range.

  1. 2003 — Le Poste first produced as a single-parcel cuvee at Saint Cosme
