Aroma: dark berries, chocolate, oak, ripe cherry

Palate: dark berries, chocolate, cherry

Deep dark ruby, with dark berries lifted by chocolate and oak. The tannins are present but velvety, the acidity balanced, and the aftertaste long.

What it pairs with

  • Mtsvadi of beef
Velvety tannin and dark-berry weight are what Kakhetian grilled beef asks for.
  • Chashushuli
The braise's tomato acidity meets the wine's own balanced acidity rather than fighting it.
  • Dark chocolate
Badagoni flags chocolate in the bouquet, and a dry Saperavi with this structure can take cocoa.
