The Riserva is the longest-aged wine of the Vaona range, drawn from the same Pegrandi hillside parcels at 200 to 250 metres and given extra cask time before release.
The estate reports an impenetrable garnet colour, a nose intense in red fruit under spirit such as cherry and plum well amalgamated with noble and persistent spiced scents, and a palate of notable gustatory concentration, persistent and well balanced by an elegant, velvety tannin.
