History

Royal Tokaji's estate blend Aszú at 5 puttonyos has been produced since the first commercial vintage in 1990, representing the estate's multi-vineyard interpretation of the style at a slightly lower sweetness level than the flagship 6-puttonyos single-vineyard labels.

  1. 1990 — First Royal Tokaji vintage; Aszú 5 puttonyos the accessible tier of the range
  2. 2013 — Hungarian Aszú regulations revised; 5-puttonyos designation standardised to minimum 120 g/l residual sugar
