Palate: grapefruit, green pineapple, dry and taut, vivid natural acidity
A single-parcel white field blend, half Encruzado: orange blossom, lemon and peach with a mineral edge, grapefruit and green pineapple behind.
Yellow in the glass, with a floral nose plus citrus and stone fruit where orange blossom, lemon and peach stand out over a mineral touch. The palate is dry with well present natural acidity, and citrus and tropical notes of grapefruit and green pineapple come through as you drink.
Encruzado at 50 percent with Malvasia, Gouveio, Bical, Cerceal Branco and other varieties, all from one parcel of vines.
Direct pressing, controlled fermentation and seven months on fine lees in stainless steel, with the rest of the ageing in bottle.
