History

Reseca comes from Vigna Poggio, one and a half hectares in the Monte la Guardia hamlet of Randazzo on Etna's north side, surrounded by a chestnut wood. The vines are about a century old, planted at 10,000 per hectare on lava-stone terraces and trained as alberello with chestnut stakes.
