What it pairs with

  • Grilled sausage with mustard
A traditional Wachau Heurigen pairing for a light, peppery Grüner.
  • Cold cuts and cheese
Easy-drinking Federspiel suited to casual Heurigen-style snacking.
  • Light cucumber salad
Fresh acidity and pepper complement this traditional Austrian side salad.

History

The Grabner estate on the south bank at Rossatz works both banks' terroir, offering a slightly warmer-fruit style than many north-bank estates. The Federspiel is the estate's most accessible and widely sold wine.
