History

Selección Mencía is produced only in years the estate judges good enough. Fruit comes from vines over one hundred years old on steep, south-facing slate slopes between 700 and 800 metres, double sorted by bunch and by berry, vinified in new 400 litre French oak with pigeage, and macerated 20 to 30 days before malolactic in barrel.
