History

The house red in the Versos de Valtuille range comes from a coupage of old vineyards at Valtuille de Abajo where Mencía roots into clay, slate, lime and rolled stone. Vines are over seventy-five years old in both bush and trellis form. Fermentation runs in 10,000 litre stainless steel tanks, then the wine rests ten months in 7,500 litre French oak foudres.
