History

Dry Amontillado of more than 40 years, raised in American oak under flor and then oxidatively for more than 30 years. The producer says it is kept in original 2,000-litre butts built and signed by the bodega's founding cooper, José Antonio Sierra, in the early 19th century, and that the long time gives the wine ample room to age and almost reflect. The 1830 in the name is a brand name, not a vintage.
