History

Persegà is a 1.2 hectare vineyard at 250 metres in Marano on clay and limestone. No selection is set aside for Amarone here: all the fruit goes to Valpolicella Superiore, vinified fresh with no drying, fermented seven to ten days in temperature-controlled steel and aged twelve months in old oak. Six to seven thousand bottles a year.
